| 11/13/2021 | Santa Ynez 1st Annual Salute to Veterans Santa Ynez 1st Annual Salute to Veterans 13 November 2021, 11a.m. – 6p.m. The Santa Barbara Veterans Foundation and the Santa Ynez Valley Elks lodge are sponsoring the Santa Ynez 1st Annual Salute to Veterans. The free event begins at 11a.m. with a parade on Sagunto Street from the Maverick Saloon to the Red Barn Restaurant. Parade entrants include American Legion and Chumash Color Guards, WWII Veteran Grand Marshals, Jeeps and other military vehicles, Daughters of the American Revolution, Boy Scouts, County Dignitaries, WWII Pinup Girls, LaBohem Dancers, Patriot Riders Motorcycles among other patriotic entrants. A program will follow the parade in front of the Maverick Saloon with the National Anthem with a Military Aircraft flyover, Military Speakers, SYV Jazz Band patriotic music, popular bands, Pinup Girl Contest, and LaBohem Dancers.
